1. Make a college packing list and stick to it

This might sound a little silly because, of course, this is what we should be doing at all times with people everywhere, but some people tend to forget that others around them might need help with moving into their dorm room during move-in day.
If someone asks for assistance carrying things from their car or asking which way the dorms are, the college helps them.
If you don’t know the answer to their question, then ask someone at your school who does know the answer or find out yourself and let this person know.

It’s hard for some people to take advantage of college move-in-the-day because there is usually a lot of work involved with getting yourself ready for classes, but if possible, try to relax and take things easy!
